![]() Expert: This one involves some pretty substantial grind on the second highest difficulty. For this you’ll need a high personality to make a good impression on people. Love Guru: Romance any two characters. This kind of behaviour is met with swift and vicious retribution in terms of a particular random encounter, if you are unlucky, so be warned. This one involves assaulting caravans and robbing all of their stuff, naturally. If you combine it with a sharpening stone and electrical wire, you’ll get the achievement for crafting a stone knife. Neanderthal: In the underground area of the Roaring Forest you can find a stone tool.If you have a powerful gun with enough ammo, killing this monster will yield a serum to increase one of your stats. Superhuman: In the underground area of the Roaring Forest, if you follow a blood trail on the lefthand path, it will lead you to a frightening monster. You need at least 35 throwing skill for this to work. On a lefthand path avoiding all enemies, you can find a stalagmite that you can form a rope bridge to cross to the other side. One for getting down into the underground area of the Roaring Forest, another to cross a gap. Indy: You will need 2 ropes for this achievement.Drop 3 raw meat in the circle and dark gods will bestow upon you a luck bonus. Sacrifice: In the Roaring Forest area, you will find a wooden totem on the far side of the map on a path leading away from an old couple, including the Old Man Valery. There is a quest that requires you to collect 5 and another to collect 50. Fortunately, these respawn, so just make sure to pick them again each time you visit a map. Kraina Grzybow: This achievement is simply for picking mushrooms, about 40-50 or so.The fish will grant you an increase in one of your stats. Having 10 luck is very advisable, otherwise you will be there a while. You can then fish in the lake, with a very small chance of getting a rare golden fish. After that, you can skin enemies in the first area such as ants and wasps to get bait. Wishmaster: Get a fisherman on the northwest side a bottle of vodka (only available during the day time) to learn the Entomologist perk.If you do, you can give the nutcracker his sword back and in return get a golden nut worth 300 roubles. If you go down there you will find a more powerful rat that you have to defeat. If you turn on a light switch, you will see a passage underneath a bed. Bustin nuts: In Ostradnoye, you can find an abandoned building on the southeast side. When I reloaded a save and dug up the graves again, I got the achievement faster. Use this to dig up some graves outside the gates. Grave robber: In the first city, Ostradnoye, you can get a shovel near old man Semyon who wants some help picking his corn. Not all areas seem to count equally, even if they show on the map, but they will all pop eventually. Explorer: The first of these exploration achievements popped early on, but the next two were slower.I triggered this with one triple barrel shotgun blast decapping a couple blyads. ![]() Off with their heads: Burst weapons and end game guns are sufficiently powerful that they can regularly decapitate foes. One shot, one kill: As above, but this time with a single ranged attack. One Hit Wonder: Pretty self-explanatory, kill an enemy with a single melee attack.Savant: Dump all of your stats at character creation to 1 except for intelligence, which you set to 11.Glory to the pioneers! Start the game up and the achievement should pop. ![]() Tarkov is sealed off by UN and Russian military, supply chains are cut, communication with operational command is lost, and in these conditions everyone has to make his own choices of what to do and how to get out of the chaos-ridden metropolis. ![]() ![]() I think it would be great in the future if the user could enable/disable certain sections to focus on what they need to practice on. Certain groups are more challenging than others. The tutorials gradually build up the amount of parameters in each patch by adding one section at a time. The videos default to full screen, and when it finishes, you have to swipe in order to go out of full screen, and you only have a second to select the challenge button to proceed before it goes back to full screen again. On iPad the transition between the tutorial videos and the interactive sections is not seamless. If seeing one wagging tail brought me joy before, seeing two wagging tails is even better! But it does seem like they are starting to be buddies. Cholula is almost 9 years old and still somewhat miffed that we brought not one but TWO tiny humans home, so the floppy mutt-baby trying to steal her seat in the Subaru is confusing. It doesn’t take long before the wheels turning in my head start to slow down and my anxiety melts away. Time on these trails has always been therapeutic for me. I’d all but forgotten how important being outdoors and active is for my overall sanity. In the last few weeks, I’ve gotten back out there with TWO dogs in tow, enjoyed the transition from late summer into fall’s glory, and even discovered a new trail- (pretty cool after living and hiking in Park City for over 8 years). I went through a wonderful spurt of long walks in the early quarantine months, but haven’t had much movement in my body lately. I believe the trail heals my soul when it’s hurting I have time to pray and be inspired and find gratitude for each breath. What have you missed in your life recently? Guys, if you’ve followed along on this site for a while, you know I love to hike. I’ll be updating you in the coming weeks. This summer has been full of craziness in the Howe Household, from a full hip replacement and recovery for John, a lengthy kitchen renovation, a fixer-upper cabin adventure, my parents buying property nearby to move here, Morrison proving he’s just as rambunctious as his big brother, Oden heading back to school, and a rescue puppy named Quincy! I’ve paused on many occasions this season to remind myself of the many, many blessings in my life. Just because I haven’t been Wonder Woman doesn’t mean that I don’t have A LOT to share. Today is a new day…and guess what? If today goes south, tomorrow is a new day, too. Can I just take a moment to remind you of something? Dear reader, that you’re doing the best that you can. And I can bet that many of you felt the same way. Instead of using this time to grow the way I wish I had, I spent a lot of this summer trying not to slip into depression. ![]() My kids have had no routine and it shows. While I could have used these last few months to get into the best shape of my life, reorganize my house, learn a new language, share unforgettable moments with my boys, start a book or revamp this website, or something else fruitful and amazing, I’d say the opposite is closer to the truth. Quarantine lasted longer than any of us could have imagined, and life has yet to resemble its old self. Can you believe it’s the end of September?
